Marine industry supplier sets up subsidiary in China
Supplier to the marine industry has for many years exported to China. Year by year, the export share to China grew and in 2007 exports to China accounted for 50% of total turnover. The company wanted to be closer to their customer but also to reduce the cost as establishment in China will result in cost reduction.
Interfocus helped the company to get a grant of 35,000 Euro from NOPEF to implementation of the feasibility studies.

The company established after the preliminary study a subsidiary with sales, sourcing and service activities in Ningbo south of Shanghai.
